Has anyone seen the movie “Julie & Julia”?  This week I was prompted to reminisce how entertaining, humorous and motivating this movie was especially with Julia’s interest in blogging and I was setting out on a journey of blogging too.

Briefly the movie Meryl Streep who plays Julia Child and Amy Adams as Julie Powell with the writer-director Nora Ephron’s adaptation of two bestselling memoirs: Powell’s Julie & Julia and My Life in France, by Julia Child with Alex Prud’homme.\”Julie & Julia\” Trailer
Based on two true stories, Julie & Julia intertwines the lives of two women who, though separated by time and space, are both at loose ends…until they discover that with the right combination of passion, fearlessness and butter, anything is possible.

This week I meet an inspiring young woman who is apart of our Empowered Tribe asking her about her niche and listening to her share about herself, her passion as she also is new to blogging. She mentioned she was in the hospitality industry and was a chef!! My response was have you seen “Julie & Julia”? She said “yes that was her inspiration”!!! So how exciting to  have our own Julia “Ann Johnston The Hospitality GURU”

Anna has over 10 years experience in the Hospitality industry having qualified as a Chef & worked her way up to Head Chef with 4 & 5 Star Hotels in Australia with stints in international kitchens in the US and UK.

Anna successfully made the transition from the kitchen to hotel Sales & Marketing in 2008 and now holds the position of Assistant General Manager at Belconnen Premier Inn, Canberra, Australia.
